The Wolf River Conservancy is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the Wolf River and its watershed as a sustainable natural resource.

The Wolf River Conservancy has been protecting the Wolf River since 1985, but at its heart, our work is simple. We take care of the river and the land so people can enjoy them today and into the future.

We protect land along the Wolf River and throughout its watershed to keep wildlife thriving, water clean, and natural spaces accessible. But we do more than protect land. We invite people into it.

That is where the Wolf River Greenway comes in. The Greenway follows the river through Memphis, connecting neighborhoods, parks, and people to nature. It is a place to run your first 5K, walk with friends, bike on a Saturday morning, or introduce your kids to the outdoors without ever leaving the city.

Every mile of the Greenway represents what we believe in. Conservation that is active, welcoming, and part of everyday life. When you step onto the trail, you are not just passing through nature. You are part of the reason it is protected.
